What is CarNext.com?

At CarNext.com you can buy or lease a young used car. We have several Delivery Stores where people can view, test drive and buy the car. People in Belgium can also buy their car online. At CarNext.com we guarantee a fixed and competitive all-in price (14 days bad, money back). Our cars come directly from the first owner. On the detail pages of the offered cars you can always find the complete maintenance history.

How many previous owners has my vehicle had?

Most of our cars have had one previous owner (someone who leased the car via LeasePlan). CarNext.com is part of LeasePlan. We make sure that you never become the third or fourth owner of your ex-lease car.

Want to stay informed about new cars in our online showroom?

Looking for a car that is not in our showroom? Maybe the car of your dreams will come online tomorrow. You can easily stay informed and we will let you know via e-mail that the car is back online. Select the filters of your choice in our showroom and click on 'Stay informed'.

What can you expect of the used cars at CarNext.com?

How to reserve a car

Can I make a reservation on a vehicle?

Yes! We can hold a vehicle for you for 24 hours. This means that if someone else is interested in the same vehicle, we will contact you first.

If you tell us that you have not yet made a decision (within those 24 hours), we will continue to hold the vehicle for you. This means nobody will be able to buy the vehicle during those 24 hours unless you tell us that you have decided not to buy it.

It is a no-obligation reservation. We will simply hold the vehicle for you for 24 hours.

Car is already reserved, can I take a 2nd option?

Unfortunately, that is not possible. We therefore advise you to keep a close eye on our website. If the car is not sold, it will be made available again to make an appointment. If the car is sold, it will no longer be shown on our website.

How do I make a reservation on a vehicle?

Have you seen a car in our online showroom that you want to reserve and for which you want to make an appointment? Then you can easily click on 'make an appointment' on the detail page of the car. You will receive a confirmation email from us and the car will be reserved for you. Within 24 hours a sales advisor will contact you to confirm the appointment and agree on a concrete hour.

Can I reserve more than 1 car per appointment?

No, that's not possible. We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to see the car of her/his wish.

Make an appointment

Can I make an appointment?

Yes you can! On the details page of a car, click on 'make an appointment'. You will receive a confirmation email from us and the car will be reserved for you. Within 24 hours a sales advisor will contact you to confirm the appointment and agree on a concrete hour.

Where are the CarNext.com Delivery Stores?

At the moment we have a Delivery Store in Aartselaar, Liège and Boortmeerbeek. Keep an eye on our website if you want to stay informed about new locations.

Can I come by without an appointment?

You are certainly welcome to jump in and visit our cars. Please note that in our showroom there may be cars that have already been reserved. We strongly advise you to make an appointment online, without any obligation.

Can I test drive a car?

Would you like to test drive the car of your dreams? That's possible! Keep in mind the things below:

A test drive should be requested by phone or email. You will receive confirmation of your appointment by phone or email. Bring your driver's license and identity card. The test drive cannot take place without a valid driving licence.

Is it possible to test drive several cars?

That's not possible. We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to see the car of their choice and to make a test drive.

Trade in a car

Will CarNext.com buy my old car?

Yes! At CarNext.com you can have your old car taken over. After a thorough expertise by our sales advisors, our trade-in partner (based on photos) will give you a guaranteed price for the trade-in of your car. If you agree, the price of your new car will be deducted from the purchase price of your current car. Don't forget to make an appointment for the expertise. In addition, you will definitely need the following documents:

  • Your identity card
  • Pink form
  • Car registration certificate (Part 1 + Part 2)
  • Certificate of conformity
  • Maintenance booklet

Can you give me an indication of my exchangeable car in advance?

Based on an appraisal we can determine the trade-in value. The valuation always takes place at one of our CarNext.com delivery stores and takes about one hour. To determine the trade-in value, we want to physically see the car so we can test drive it. Therefore, it is not possible to determine the value in advance or to give an indication.

Why does one really have to come by for an appraisal?

The value of your car is determined by an external independent trade-in partner. This is physically done at the location by one of our sales advisors. Your car needs to be present to do this valuation. You can drop by at your nearest CarNext.com delivery store. We have locations in Aartselaar, Liège and Boortmeerbeek.

Buy a car

Can we negotiate the price of a vehicle?

No. We work with fixed pricing at CarNext. This means that the price of the vehicles is fixed, so there is no room for negotiation. Our pricing is transparent throughout.

Can I buy more than 1 car per purchase?

Yes, you can. Prices will not change and one purchase order will be made per vehicle.

Can I cancel my purchase?

Yes, you can. You have 14 days to change your mind if you want to. We provide full reimbursement in this case, provided there is no more than 500km difference from the mileage at which the car was delivered.

What is the procedure after signing my purchase order?

• CarNext.com will wait for your payment (it takes on average 2-3 business days for the money to be deposited into our account depending on the bank).
• CarNext.com will send all the documents AFTER receiving the full payment.
• As the buyer, you must approach your insurance company and request your new number plates.
• Have you already taken care of the insurance cover and the number plates? Great! Schedule an appointment with CarNext.com in order to pick up your vehicle.
• Congratulations! Pick up your brand new second-hand car and have fun!

Can I buy a car online?

At CarNext.com you can buy a car online. Easy, fast and completely transparent. You can click on 'buy this car online' on the detail page of the car of your choice and follow the steps.

How can I buy a car online?

Fortunately, this can be done quickly and easily. On the details page of the car, click on 'buy this car online'. Then follow the 5 steps: Add options, pick up or deliver, Personal data and complete your order. When you have completed these 5 steps, you will receive an email for the payment. Here too, you can easily follow the steps.

What is the procedure for a warranty claim?

This is what you must know about the procedure for a warranty claim when you buy a second-hand car at CarNext:

  • You have a 12-month warranty on engine and mechanical parts.
  • Elements which are subject to wear and tear such as brakes, lamps, tyres, etc. are not covered by our warranty.
  • If the car still falls under the official dealer warranty, this warranty will continue to apply.
    You can have your car repaired at a brand garage of your choice. The garage will contact CarNext to complete the warranty formalities. This ensures that you can easily call on our warranty in case of problems close to home and go to your trusted dealer.

What does my warranty cover?

Before leaving our showroom, all second-hand cars undergo a technical inspection and have a 12-month warranty. This warranty includes:
✓ Protection against electric or mechanical failure of:
● Engine
● Transmission
● Tyre pressure
● Electronics
● Brake and fuel system
✗ NOT included: glass, bodywork, tyres, rims and upholstery
✓ Electrical and mechanical car parts which are due for replacement
✓ Diagnostic expenses and labour expenses
✓ Transport expenses
✓ Reimbursement of expenses for repairs which have taken place abroad

What will be the price of the car without warranty?

All CarNext.com cars come with a 1 year warranty anyway. You can choose to take another 12 months of extra warranty at an advantageous price.

With which party does the guarantee run?

The warranty runs through Autotrust. Repairs and maintenance are carried out at a Bosch Car Service facility with national coverage.

Paying the car

Is it possible to buy a vehicle in installments at CarNext?

No. CarNext does not provide the option of financing your vehicle. For this you can approach your bank. This will soon be an option, however. Coming soon!

What payment methods does CarNext accept?

You can only pay via bank transfer at CarNext. Cash, cheques, credit cards or bank card payments are not accepted.

Picking up your car

What do I need to take with me to pick up my new car?

Congratulations on your new CarNext.com vehicle. First of all, you must make an appointment with the sales advisor so that we can ensure that the vehicle is perfectly clean and ready for departure. Don't forget to bring the following with you when you come to pick up your new car:
• Request for registration (filled in by your insurance company)
• The 2 new license plates. You can buy a license plate (front) at CarNext.com for €20 (incl. VAT).

What do I need to take with me to pick up my new car and drive it abroad?

Congratulations on your new CarNext.com vehicle. If you are going to drive your new car abroad immediately, don't forget to bring the following with you when you come to collect your new car:
• Request for registration (filled in by your insurance company)
• The 2 new number plates

Is it possible to export vehicles abroad?

Yes, it is. If you wish to export the vehicle, the CarNext.com warranty will be void. You are in charge of exporting the vehicle yourself. CarNext.com cannot arrange transport for you.

Will the car be inspected / cleaned before delivery?

The vehicles are thoroughly cleaned before delivery, no maintenance is carried out unless the deadline has been exceeded (periodically or in terms of kilometres).
